Introducing the Team Associated RC28R Team Kit — a compact, high-performance on-road race car designed with the same AREA 51 engineering precision found in every Team Associated product.
Though small in scale, the RC28R delivers big performance in an easy-to-set-up package, perfect for competitive indoor racing or fun in tight spaces.
RADBODY Mako X clear body and tires included
Fixed-arm front suspension with optional molded upper arms for adjustable caster and camber
Front bulkhead design allows quick upper arm changes with consistent alignment
Optimized steering geometry and adjustable servo mount to fine-tune Ackermann
Steel chassis plate for a low center of gravity
Quick-access battery holder – remove the battery without disturbing the center shock
Torsion-style side links replace traditional side springs (soft, medium, and hard options included)
Adjustable rear pod roll center inserts to tune chassis roll based on grip level
Side damper tubes for optimized roll geometry
Threaded aluminum center shock with adjustable droop and spring collar
Two-piece rear pod with adjustable axle heights using Factory Team carbon fiber shims
Gear differential included, compatible with various aftermarket options
Hard plastic and polycarbonate body mount options included
White wheels compatible with optional front wheel flanges to fine-tune steering response
Universal front bumper included

The product-is what it is…. The difference is the SilverHorse customer service. I’ve purchased from SH maybe…15 times…. And every time, without fail, the order goes into SH system the next business day, shipping goes out as promised, and the product arrives as expected. Maybe two of those 15 or 20 orders needed some clarification, or were subject to a minor delay-and the communication is quick, professional, and the proposed solution was reasonable and customer-centric. Most of the non SH items I’ve purchased are available from other e-tailers, but based on the great service, I now go to SH website first, every time.

The front bumper mount is well made. I did have to do a little bit of sanding to the bumper to get to fit flesh on the chassis. But other than that, it’s very sturdy.
